Young Adult Suboxone Study Brochure

Description of Study:
This study is appropriate for individuals 18 to 25 years old with current opioid dependence including heroin, Percocet, Oxycontin and other opiates, who want help with their addiction. In this 13-week research study, participants will receive all study medication, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by an experienced clinician. The study will be conducted by physicians in the Department of Psychiatry at the UMass Chan Medical School (IRB Docket #13261).

Eligibility Criteria:
Participants must:
  - Be 18 to 25 years old
  - Be currently dependent on heroin, Oxycontin, Percocets or other opioids
  - NOT be pregnant or nursing
