Teaching Affiliates

We welcome the participation of our many educational affiliates and community based faculty in our UMass Chan LCME accreditation.

Educational opportunities at UMass Chan Medical School extend broadly throughout our communities in Massachusetts. Our educational partnerships with affiliated teaching sites provide the clinical training for UMass Chan students, across our diverse clerkships, preceptorships, electives and other programs that are essential in the development of our students’ clinical skills. In addition to our affiliated hospitals and community health centers, over 200 community-based faculty, also provide ambulatory-based training for our students.

As part of our UMass Chan 2020 LCME accreditation, we look forward to engaging the input and participation of our diverse educational affiliates and community-based faculty in our institutional self-study.
