Our Mission -

The mission of the Academic Technology team is to facilitate the development, integration, and implementation of student information and curriculum management systems and to promote strategies and programs for teaching and learning at UMass Chan through instructional design consultation and integration of innovative teaching and learning technologies.

Our team of leaders, developers, business analysts, instructional technologists/designers, and product owners work directly with administrators, faculty, and students from all three UMass Chan schools to meet current and future acadmic technology challenges.

Academic Technology partners with UMass Chan faculty and staff to stay up to date and comfortable with emerging instructional technology tools and pedagogical practices. Our team offers individual and group training opportunities as well as technical support for a variety of learning technologies.
