Technical Staff

Jennifer graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015 with a BS in Animal Science. She was with the Fitzgerald lab from 2016-2019 and returned in 2023 after working and gaining experience in industry. She is currently the Lab Manager and will be working alongside the postdocs in the lab.

Kristen provides administrative support for Dr. Fitzgerald, handling office management, coordination of schedules and travel, correspondence and maintenance of financial records. 

Zhaozhao received her PhD in 2010 from the UMass Chan Medical School. She has been a lab member since 2006. Her work is focused on DNA sensing pathways in innate immunity.

Nicholas graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2020, with a BS in Biology and a concentration in Physiology as well as an undeclared minor in Chemistry. He is currently training and working closely alongside postdocs in the lab.
