Alzheimer's Disease and Cognitive Neurology

UMass Chan Medical School investigators are researching the causes and treatment targets for Alzheimer’s disease, including novel approaches such as probing connections between the microbiome and cognitive function, tracing the molecular pathogenesis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and other forms of dementia, and chromosomal links to dementia. Our care and treatment help to alleviate the burden where memory loss affects independent functions. Our team provides treatment and research outcomes for a variety of memory disorders, including:

- Alzheimer’s Disease
- Dementia
- Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD)
- Lewy Body Dementia
- Mild Cognitive Impairment
