Why did you choose UMass Chan Medical School?
I love UMass Chan Medical School's holistic approach to education. The faculty at UMMS strive to educate the whole person and encourage students to be actively engaged in the community, both on and off campus.
What are some of the projects on which you’re working?
I am currently heavily involved in student government and work closely with the administration on a number of projects. Additionally, I am a primary coordinator for one of the Worcester Free Clinics that UMass students staff and run. Lastly, I work with a group of student educators that teaches health and sex education classes to teen mothers and youth in the correctional facilities.
What is your hope for the future, professionally?
My hope is to remain involved in medical education. I want to integrate teaching
