New farm, more affordable options

You can choose fruits, vegetables, eggs, mushrooms or all of the above in this year’s flexible community supported agriculture (CSA) program.

Medway Community Farm, located in Medway will provide fresh local produce to the UMass Chan community once a week throughout the summer growing season.

The farm is offering a variety of share options for the 18-week season. (Estimated season: June 26 to Oct. 23.)

​​​Deadline to order is June 1 at 5 p.m.

The cost and share-size options are:

Vegetable Share
$535 for a weekly share (18 weeks)
$268 for the bi-weekly share (9 weeks)

Mushroom Share
$235 for a weekly one-pound share (18 weeks)
$530 for a weekly three-pound share (9 weeks)

Egg Share
$160 for one dozen of eggs weekly (18 weeks)

Fruit Share (Late August through October)
$210 for a weekly share starting late August through October. (8 weeks)

Pickup Location:
All shares will be available for pickup at UMass Chan
Medical School Main Lobby in Worcester on Wednesdays, from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
