Vascular Interventional Conferences
We have a dedicated weekly didactic activity given to our fellow and to the resident rotating in our service. This activity includes didactic lectures, journal club and case conference.
We participate in the weekly Multidisciplinary HCC clinic, held every Thursday afternoon, along with Transplant Surgery, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Radiation Therapy and Medical Oncology. This clinic is held in the liver transplant clinic area. All members of the group review images and clinical history and, once management decisions are made, patients are seen individually to discuss treatment plans.
In addition, didactic monthly noon-conferences and case presentations for the residents are routine.
Radiology Grand Rounds are held throughout the year with visiting and local professors offering the opportunity to meet and learn from leading national authorities on a wide variety of topics.
The Division strives to maintain a high quality of resident and fellowship education with stress on the six focus areas outlined in the Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) program.
