Funding Opportunities and Administration

Our team’s mission is to provide the PMM research community with outstanding pre- and post-award research administration services while ensuring the adherence to all applicable federal, state, University and sponsor guidelines.

What We Can Do For You

Proposal Development and Submission

  • Alert faculty and post docs to government, nonprofit and industry funding sources

  • Develop one to five-year budgets as well as proposal packages for public and private awards and agreements

  • Liaise with collaborators and their administrators to complete proposals with subawards/subcontracts

  • Facilitate proposal review by Research Funding Services

  • Serve as intermediary between faculty and the Office of Technology Management (OTM) regarding industry awards to vet agreements for budget and research compliance

Award Management

  • Provide financial projections and strategy advice on proper use of funds

  • Monitor subaward/subcontract budgets, including review and processing of invoices and coordinating with counterparts at collaborator institutions

  • Provide support to complete annual progress reports

  • Monitor payroll and consumable spending allocations

  • Maintain proposal documents including Other Support and Resources pages

Postdoctoral Fellowships and Career Development Awards

  • Assist post docs and junior faculty in submitting fellowship and career transition award proposals
