Academic Personnel Policy Revision Underway

The campus initiated review of the Academic Personnel Policy (APP) [Doc. T95-022, amended August 23, 2006] with the goal of revising the policy. In June, approximately 80 academic leaders attended a half-day retreat to kick-off the review process. Following the retreat, Provost Flotte charged the Academic Advancement Working Group (AAWG) to review and propose revisions to the pathways, criteria and procedures for faculty appointments, promotion and tenure.
