High school students, parents, teachers and guidance counselors are invited to the Nursing Schools Expo hosted by the Graduate School of Nursing at UMass Medical School and supported by the member schools of the Worcester Nursing Pipeline Consortium. The free event will be held in the Albert Sherman Center at UMMS on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Admissions representatives from 14 local nursing schools will be on hand. Faculty and nursing student presentations will highlight opportunities in nursing as a career. Registration begins at 4 p.m.; formal presentations will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., and a buffet dinner will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. while networking and nursing school visits continue through 7 p.m.
