The newest installment of the Artist in Residence series, The Colors of Nature: Flora and Fauna, features the photography of Bruce Simon, MD, associate professor of surgery.

“I have been involved in photography for most of my life. My experience encompasses the transition from ‘chemical photography’ to modern digital practices,” said Dr. Simon in his artist’s statement. “My major interest has always been in nature photography emphasizing flora and fauna and natural landscapes with contrasting straight lines and angles.”

The exhibit, which is sponsored by the Lamar Soutter Library, is on display through Thursday, Feb. 28, on the first floor of the library.
