The UMass Center for Clinical and Translational Science held its seventh annual research retreat on May 16. The event provides a forum for transdisciplinary researchers across the translational spectrum to present and discuss their work, identify barriers to effective translation of research, and improve approaches to analysis and data collection. In addition to a keynote address and minisymposia, the event featured a poster session from researchers, clinicians, nurses, other professionals, and students from across the five UMass campuses, UMass Memorial Medical Center, Baystate Medical Center, community engagement agencies and other educational institutions.
