The UMass Medical School chapter of the Student National Medical Association is hosting this year’s Regional Medical Education Conference on Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Albert Sherman Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The theme of this year’s conference is advocating change through interventions in science and medicine and debunking alternative facts.
The Regional Medical Education Conference, which brings together students from medical schools, graduate schools, colleges and high schools in the New England area, serves as a platform for students and professionals to connect on issues impacting underserved communities and underrepresented groups in medicine.
