Drawing on his many years of leadership in medicine and academia, including his current role as UMass senior vice president for the life sciences and chancellor of UMass Medical School, Michael F. Collins, MD, will present “Principles on the Path toward Leadership,” the opening session of the 2014-2015 Leadership Seminar Series.
The seminar will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 21, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Lazare Auditorium of the Medical School. The event is open to faculty, post-docs and students. Registration is not required.
The Leadership Seminar Series offers workshops and seminars throughout the academic year. Sponsored by the Office of Faculty Affairs and presented by national speakers and UMMS experts, the series addresses approaches that can improve and enhance leadership skills.
