Learn the five ‘whys’ of fact-based decision making

Women’s Professional Committee presents Lunch and Learn Seminars April 23 and 29

In “Fact-Based Decision Making: The Five ‘Whys’ Technique,” Annie Delaney-Magee will introduce the method that can help those who master it make better decisions in hiring, legal compliance and other essential business functions.

Delaney-Magee, manager of the Human Resources’ leadership and development group, develops training and learning curricula to build competencies and leadership capacity within the workforce, and designs and delivers core workplace training and customized workplace-learning programs for managers and other staff.

Hosted by the Women’s Professional Committee of the Diversity and Equal Opportunity Office at UMMS, the seminar will be held in separate locations on two dates:

  • Wednesday, April 23, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Michelson Conference Room of the Lazare Research Building on the University Campus (RSVP here); and
  • Tuesday, April 29, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Greece Conference Room on the South Street Campus (RSVP here).
