Lawrence headlines Hudson Hoagland Society’s annual meeting

Jeanne B. Lawrence, PhD, professor of cell & developmental biology, will be the keynote speaker at the Hudson Hoagland Society’s 29th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 13, at 6 p.m. in the Albert Sherman Center auditorium. Dr. Lawrence’s talk is called “Silencing the extra chromosome 21 responsible for Down Syndrome.” 

Also speaking will be 2011 Worcester Foundation Grant recipient Craig Ceol, PhD, assistant professor of molecular medicine, who will present “Fishing for cancer genes: finding new melanoma genes and drug targets.”

Longtime Hudson Hoagland Society member Warner S. Fletcher will receive the Hudson Hoagland Award at the event.
