This is Your Brain on Love: A Scientist Looks at Love and Attraction

Sheldon Benjamin will speak at Worcester Public Library Feb. 4

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, neurologist and psychiatrist Sheldon Benjamin, MD, will discuss what is happening in the brain when one experiences feelings of love and attraction. Dr. Benjamin will present “This is Your Brain on Love: A Scientist Looks at Love and Attraction” at the Worcester Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Benjamin is professor of psychiatry and neurology and vice chair of education for the Department of Psychiatry at UMass Medical School. Elected president of the American Association of Neuropsychiatry in 2013, he is the 2012 recipient of the UMMS Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished Teaching.
