Chancellor Michael F. Collins and his wife joined dozens of volunteers at the Holiday Harvest at the Veterans Inc. shelter in Worcester on Tuesday, Nov. 20, handing out the fixings for complete turkey dinners to hundreds of veterans.
“The important distinction we like to make about this event is that, although there’s a lot of donated food and lots of resources available, it’s a repayment—we are paying back veterans and their families,” said Denis Leary, Veterans Inc. executive director.
