The Autism Insurance Resource Center at the Shriver Center in Waltham will mark the first full year of access to autism insurance in Massachusetts with a reception on Tuesday, May 8, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The Shriver Center has much to celebrate on the one-year anniversary of the passage of an Act Relative to Insurance Covering Autism, especially the progress being made to help people with autism spectrum disorders access insurance coverage for treatment.
The event will include a short speaking program and an opportunity to learn more about autism insurance, as well as the Shriver Center's programs. Continental breakfast will be served. RSVP to Audrey.Huntley@umassmed.edu.
