Breakthrough at the Albert Sherman Center

The piercing whine of a high-powered saw heralded a breakthrough moment in the construction of the Albert Sherman Center on March 11. 

After nearly a year of construction on the site, workers began connecting the new building to the existing Medical School building by cutting into the tunnel that now extends from the school to the Lazare Research Building. The new tunnel will house the utility lines serving the ASC.
