First Road Garage to get a bit of TLC

As part of the ongoing maintenance program for the First Road Parking Garage on the Worcester campus, a project to repaint the structural steel will begin on Thursday, Oct. 14, and continue through mid-November. The work will start on Level 6 and work downward to include Levels 4 and 5. The remaining floors are scheduled to be painted in the spring.

The area of the garage being painted will be cordoned off on a daily basis and signage will indicate where parking spaces are unavailable. Members of Parking Office staff will be on site to assist with the redirection of traffic. Approximately 120 parking spaces will be out of service on any given day. The schedule for this work is subject to change based on the weather.
