Welcome to the Vascular Neurology Fellowship

UMass Medical School offers two positions annually in our ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology Fellowship.  Fellows gain experience from an active clinical service and a comprehensive curriculum and are trained in acute stroke treatments, observational interventional neuroradiology, intensive care stroke management, remote stroke telemedicine, multimodality stroke imaging, primary/secondary stroke prevention, neurosonology (carotid ultrasound and TCD), cardiac imaging and clinical research. The award-winning UMass Stroke Service at UMass Memorial Health Care is staffed by seven vascular neurologists led by Brian Silver, MD, Vice Chair of the Department of Neurology Majaz Moonis, MD, director of Stroke Services and Richard Goddeau, MD, director of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship.
