Education
UMass Chan is committed to training the next generation of leaders in neurology. Medical students, residents and fellows benefit from significant education and mentorship by faculty. Trainees have the opportunity to learn the method of translational research, complementing classroom and bedside teaching. In addition to close collaborations with other departments at UMass Chan, there are rich connections with other hospitals and departments in Central Massachusetts, which includes an extensive telehealth system. Our department is also deeply committed to diversity and inclusion so as to reflect the communities we serve and eliminate disparities in care.
