Getting to Know Marcia Haigis, PhD

We are excited to host Dr. Marcia Haigis on December 15th during a MetNet month that will feature mitochondrial biology. Marcia is a Professor in the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School in Boston and a member of the Paul F. Glenn Center for the Biology of Aging and the Ludwig Center at Harvard Medical School. She earned her PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to do postdoctoral research at MIT in Leonard Guarente’s lab.

Marcia's lab at Harvard Medical School studies the role of mitochondrial metabolism in aging and disease. We look forward to hosting her for the day in our MetNet community!
