Marcus Ruscetti receives NIH MERIT Award

Marcus Ruscetti, PhD, has received an NIH Method to Extend Research in Time (MERIT) Award from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to continue his studies uncovering the heterogeneous role of senescence in prostate immune suppression and tumorigenesis. Through his research, Dr. Ruscetti hopes to develop new senescence-related biomarkers prognostic of prostate cancer progression, and identify novel immune-based targets and therapeutic strategies for treating prostate cancer.
