The department is supported by a team of dedicated administrative and support staff who handle a multitude of responsibilities to ensure the department’s administrative functions are efficient, dependable and productive, with the goal of easing the burden for the faculty and researchers and allowing them to focus on research activities. Our team is literally award-winning: in 2017 the MCCB administrative team was recognized with the University’s Chancellor’s Award for Advancing the UMass Chan Medical School Mission, in recognition of their daily contributions that are integral to the department’s success.
