The University of Massachusetts Medical School Network (UMMSnet) has been established to enhance educational and research activities and to promote innovation and competitiveness. Use of both UMMSnet and UMass Medical School's Information Technology services are subject to the terms and conditions outlines in the UMass Worcester Campus Acceptable Use Policy, Email Usage Policy and other IT Policies.
To obtain an UMMSnet User account, please have your manager carefully fill out the electronic request form and click the submit button within the form. They may also print out the form and fax it to 508-856-2440. To avoid any delays in account creations, please ensure the information is accurate and the form is signed.
Your supervisor will be notified by e-mail when your account is ready. You must come to the Information Technology HelpDesk locations (University Campus room S1-311 or South Street Campus 2nd floor and present your UMMS ID or a valid State issued ID in order to receive your account information. The new account are usually ready within 24-48 hours.
