Pre-Travel Health and Safety Information
General Safety and Health Information: As part of the pre-travel registration process, UMMS travelers agree to review the following country-specifc health and safety guidance from the U.S. Government:
- U.S. State Department - Country Information
- U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - Destinations
STEP Registration: All US citizens are also expected to register their travel with the U.S. State Department Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (https://step.state.gov/) to ensure that receipt of all relevant information and alerts. If you are not a US citizen, you do not have to register your travel.
Pre-Travel Planning: All travelers - especially students and those less experienced travelers - are strongly encouraged to review the UMMS Pre-Travel Checklist.
