During Convocation Week, Chancellor Michael Collins recognized Chancellor Medal recipients and faculty invested as named chairs.

In his annual Convocation address on Wednesday, Sept. 14, marking the opening of the academic year, Chancellor Michael F. Collins honored the UMass Chan Medical School community for its continuing efforts to make the campus inclusive, responsive and influential—and well positioned for the launch of a $250 million comprehensive campaign.  The campaign, Pathways of Promise, will support research, education and innovation for the next generation.
