Each year, the Basic & Biomedical Science programs* of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences sponsor Recruiting Weekends on campus to host highly-qualified applicants in order to interview them and allow them to meet the people and see the facilities of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. To be eligible for an invitation to the Recruiting Weekends, applicants must be a U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or visa holders residing in the United States or Puerto Rico at the time of the Recruiting Weekends. The cost of travel, lodging, and meals are paid by the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Invitations to attend the Recruiting Weekends are typically communicated to applicants between the middle of December and the end of January. The Recruiting Weekends are typically held during January and February.
Participation in a Recruiting Weekend or an alternate visit is a required component of the application process and therefore those invited applicants who decline the opportunity to visit campus and participate in interviews will have their applications withdrawn by the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
*Basic & Biomedical Science Programs include, Biochemistry & Molecular Pharmacology, Bioinformatics & Computational Biology, Cancer Biology, Immunology & Microbiology, Interdisciplinary, Neuroscience, and Translational Science
