Meet our Hahnemann Residents!




Jorge Finke, MD, is a 2017 graduate of UMass Medical School and earned his BS in Pre-Medical/Health Sciences from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 2013. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Jorge has a great interest in working with underserved populations. His personal interests include basketball and salsa dancing.


Dinah Gorelik, MD is a 2017 graduate of UMass Medical School and earned her BS in Public Health from UMass-Amherst in 2011. Prior to medical school, Dinah worked as a mental health specialist. Her interests include integrative medicine and underserved populations. Outside of medicine, Dinah enjoys hiking, Netflix, and board games.


Aimee Kobjack, MD is a 2017 graduate of UMass Medical School, earned her BS in Biology in 2010 from UMass-Amherst and her MS in Molecular and Cell Biology from Brandeis University in 2012. Prior to medical school, Aimee worked as a clinical research assistant. Her interests include women's health and sports medicine and her personal interests include baking, yoga and gardening.



Julie Powers, MD, is a 2017 graduate of the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She earned her BA in Environmental Studies and Forest Ecology from Marlboro College in 2010. A California native, Julie worked for a few years in academic administration and teaching wilderness first aid. Julie’s academic interests include comprehensive primary care and maternal-child health. Her outside interests include choral singing, Irish dancing, and hiking.




Efstathia Choros, MD is a 2016 graduate of St. Georges University and a graduate of UMASS-Amherst in 2008 with a BA in Accounting. Prior to medical school, Efstathia worked as an auditor for Pricewatershouse Cooper in Boston. She grew up in Westborough, MA and is interested in urgent care and global health. Efstathia also enjoys SCUBA diving and travel. 


Abirami Raveendran, MD is a 2016 graduate of American University of the Caribbean. She earned her BHS from University of Western Ontario in 2009 and her MS in Global Health from McMaster University in 2011. A Canadian native, Abi’s interests include global health, public health and underserved populations. Her personal interests include yoga, running and dance.


Leah Rothstein, MD is a 2016 graduate of St. Georges University and earned her BA in Sociology/Anthropology from Carleton College in 2004. Leah worked as a research assistant prior to entering medical school. Her academic interests include geriatrics and her personal interests include music, painting and cooking.


Veronica Torres, MD is a 2016 graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and earned her BS in Chemistry from Rice University in 2011. A native of Puerto Rico, Veronica would like to work with a diverse patient population and is interested in teaching. She also enjoys cooking, salsa dancing and reading.




Scott Goldberg, MD is a 2015 graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine and earned his BS in Biology from University of Michigan in 2009. Go Blue! As a medical student, Scott was a teaching assistant and an anatomy tutor and volunteered at several student-run clinics. A Virginia native, Scott is interested in sports medicine, college health, and nutrition. He also enjoys playing volleyball, cooking, hiking, playing board games, and trivia of any variety. 


Stephan Goupil, DO, PhD is a 2015 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Osteopathic Medicine and earned his BA in Philosophy from UCONN in 2001. Stephan completed his doctorate in Biomedical Science from UCONN in 2005. Before entering medical school, he was an Assistant Professor of Biology at a Maryland college. Stephan's interests include medical genetics. He's a certified SCUBA diver and also enjoys rock climbing.


Elizabeth Kardas, MD, Chief Resident, is a 2015 graduate of SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and earned her BS in Human Biology from the University at Albany in 2010. She couple's matched at UMass with her boyfriend, Michael, who works as an internal medicine resident. She served on her medical school's Admissions Committee and is interested in women's health, college health, and patient education. Elizabeth's non-academic interests include working out, cooking, and photography.


Olga Kuzina, MD, MA is a 2015 graduate of University of Vermont College of Medicine and graduated from Arzamas State Pedagogical Institute in Russia in 1997 with a BA in Biology and Education and an MA in Biology in 1998. Her interests include women's health and geriatrics and she looks forward to teaching in residency. Olga also enjoys art, travel, and cooking.


Samantha Minski, PhD is a Behavioral Health Fellow at HFHC. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a major area of study in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.  Samantha recently completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Florida Health Science Center in the Underserved Psychology (HRSA supported) track.

She enjoys working alongside residents and treating patients in an integrated setting. Within family medicine, her clinical interests include weight management, chronic pain, and adjustment to illness. Samantha is excited for her first real winter and you can find her hiking with her dog, Princess Buttercup, and exploring the New England area.
