Chief Resident 2023-2024

Welcome to UMass Urology!  We appreciate your interest in our program and would love to have you join us.  Here at UMass, we are a tight-knit family, and we are so excited to welcome our next urology residents.  

Having completed undergrad ,medical school, and now residency in Central Massachusetts, I can confidently say that Worcester is a great place to both live and train!  Worcester is a fun, livable, small city with an excellent food scene.  There are plenty of opportunitites for outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, and you can even attend a minor league baseball game at Polar Park to cheer on the WooSox!

Our department supports our individualtiy as residents.  We have had graduting chiefs enter both competititve fellowships and private practice.  Because of the size of our program, our faculty come to know and care about each of us - not only on a professional level, but on a personal level as well - and are eager to see us achieve our own versions of success.  

I'd strongly encourage all budding urologists to look closely at our program.  I truly believe that I would not have received the same individualized and well-rounded training had I not trained here at UMass.  I could not be prouder of the department that I have called my home over the last few years, and I cannot wait to see who gets to join our family next.
