Lifestyle Intervention

The Healthy Living module presents an opportunity for individuals to establish healthy lifestyle changes via recovery and support-based discussions and activities with a focus on helpful coping strategies and reducing stigma.

The goals of the module include promoting healthy food choices and eating habits, increasing physical activity and exercise, addressing co-occurring substance use in individuals with severe mental illness, presenting alternative coping strategies and guidance for building support systems, and reducing stigma of severe mental illness.

Recent events of the module include a Nutrition Program implemented at local group homes. Previously, the module developed Food4Thought, a nutrition program in collaboration with the local Genesis Club. Go to News & Events to see more from the module!
