Thompson Lab publishes new paper in Biochemistry

Initial Kinetic Characterization of Sterile Alpha and Toll/Interleukin Receptor Motif-Containing Protein 1.

Heather Loring, along with other members of the Thompson Lab, Janneke Icso and Venkatesh Nemmara, recently published a paper in Biochemistry on the Initial Kinetic Characterization of SARM1. These data as well as our in-depth description of the challenges associated with studying this enzyme will provide a solid background for further study into this unique NAD hydrolase and will also facilitate the development of inhibitors and activity-based probes targeting SARM1.
