Postdoctoral Associates

Shun-Yun, aka Michelle, is a post-doctoral research fellow in the lab working on Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). Michelle defended her Ph.D. thesis in the Punzo lab with a seminal study that proposes a role for photoreceptors in AMD pathogenesis. Michelle is continuing her PhD work in the lab in an effort to translate her initial findings into a human therapy for Age-related Macular Degeneration.
