Chelsea Kosma, MA
UMass Chan Medical School
Chelsea Kosma is the Research Project Director for the Center for Psychopharmacologic Research and Treatment at UMass Chan Medical School. Chelsea received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2005. She then completed her Master’s Degree in Experimental Psychology at University of Hartford in 2007.
Chelsea began her career in research at The Miriam Hospital’s Centers for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine, an affiliate of Brown University’s Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior.
There she conducted clinical interviews and administered infant neurobehavioral exams for studies examining the effects of smoking and depression during pregnancy on infant and fetal behavior.
In 2008, Chelsea joined the UMass Department of Psychiatry’s Center for Psychopharmacologic Research and Treatment as the primary study coordinator for Dr. Anthony Rothschild. Since then she has coordinated a variety of research studies in depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
