Benefits

Postdoctoral trainees receive one to three years of funding, depending on training needs, progress,  and previous research experience. They are full-time UMass Chan employees and receive a salary determined by NIH according to level of training, and a competitive benefits package.  All trainees also receive a travel allowance, tuition support and a research allowance, based on NIH policy. These are used to conduct pilot research, attend professional meetings and courses, or cover other related expenses.
