UMass Chan community encouraged to take Diversity Engagement Survey beginning March 6

The UMass Chan Medical School Diversity Engagement Survey, administered every three years to assess progress in building a more diverse and inclusive culture, will be emailed to all faculty, staff and students on March 6 and remain open through the end of March.

The Diversity and Inclusion Office has worked to ensure the survey is accessible to the UMass Chan community. Participants will be able to take the survey in English or Spanish. In addition to the initial email invitation to participate that will be sent on March 6, various materials on campus such as digital signage and table tents will include a QR code to scan and participate. The DIO will be sharing weekly progress updates via social media, email updates and digital signage on campus. 

The following raffle prizes will serve as incentives to participate. The earlier the survey is taken, the more chances individuals have to win. The prizes are as follows: 

Week 1 (March 6-10):

  • Tickets to a show at Hanover Theatre (Dance Theatre of Harlem: The Hazel Scott Ballet)
  • WooSox tickets (2)
  • Tickets to the New England Botanical Garden at Tower Hill

Week 2 (March 13-17)

  • WooSox tickets (2)
  • 1 month UMass Chan gym membership
  • Escape Room tickets

Week 3 (March 20-24)

  • 1 month of free parking

Week 4 (March 27-31)
