On Thursday, May 30, the GSBS will host its ninth annual GSBS Student Academic Achievement Awards ceremony at 3 p.m. in ASC Cube. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

On Friday, May 31, the SOM Alumni Association will host its annual breakfast at 9 a.m. in the ASC first floor multipurpose room. Outstanding medical educator awards will be presented and the members of the class of 2018 will be welcomed as alumni.

On Saturday, June 1, a private dinner will be held for honorary degree recipients Darrell G. Also on Saturday evening, graduates of all three schools and their families, as well as members of the UMMS community, are invited to a campus celebration from 8 p.m. until midnight. The celebration features music and dancing in the multipurpose room of the ASC. Hors d’oeuvres and beer and wine will be served.

And finally, on Sunday, June 2, Commencement will take place at noon in the tent on the campus green. A complementary brunch will be available on campus for students and their guests. Buffet service will be offered beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Faculty Conference Room, the Medical School lobbies and in the multipurpose room in the ASC, with seating available outside as weather permits.

General seating for Commencement begins at 10:30 a.m., with the processional beginning at 11:45 a.m. and Commencement exercises starting promptly at noon.
