Family Nurse Practitioner Track (FNP)


The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track is designed to prepare graduates in advanced nursing practice. This program equips future FNPs to provide family-centered primary care, from wellness to illness, to diverse populations across the lifespan. Graduates are prepared as nurse practitioners who will be leaders in clinical practice, nursing education, health policy and healthcare delivery systems.

DNP/FNP Pathways include:

  • Graduate Entry Pathway - For non-RN’s with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a non-nursing field
  • RN with Bachelor’s degree
    • Bachelor’s of Science Degree (BSN)
    • Diploma or Associate’s degree in another non-nursing discipline (pre-graduate option)
