Past Six Months at CCTS - Highlights of 2019

November 2019

  • CONGRATULATIONS! I-CORPS TEAMS SHARPEN THEIR BUSINESS SKILLS: Six teams recently completed the Fall 2019 session of I-Corps training facilitated by Dr. Nate Hafer (UMass Chan), Dr. Denise Dunlap (UML), and Michael Laine, MBA (UML). During the five-week innovation and commercialization training course, participants tested hypotheses about the commercial potential of their new technologies. Osman Bilsel said, “The single most valuable part is….I’m much more confident about who my target customers are and what their pain points are. It’s good to know I’m developing technology that will be useful.” To learn more about the UMCCTS I-Corps program, please visit https://www.umassmed.edu/ccts/education/i-corps-program-at-the-umccts/
  • CAPCaT NEEDS YOUR INPUT! PLEASE TAKE THE CAPCaT (Center for Advancing Point of Care Technologies) NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY: The pace of technological change in healthcare is rapid and potentially transformative. We need input from healthcare providers like you to identify the best opportunities for technology to complement, as opposed to complicate, healthcare. Thank you in advance for providing critical feedback to CAPCaT. To participate, please visit https://arcsapps.umassmed.edu/redcap/surveys/?s=4MYFWTARA9. If you have any questions, please contact Nate Hafer at nathaniel.hafer@umassmed.edu
