Research Focus - Mouse Models of T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

  • Use of mouse models of T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) to guide leukemia drug discovery efforts by defining essential pathways and synergistic combination therapies
  • Application of siRNA and CRISPR screening methods to understand disease pathogenesis and identify mechanisms of resistance
  • Mapping of the leukemia microenvironment of T-ALL at the single-cell level and identification of markers/pathways that define leukemia-initiating cells
  • Evaluation of the contribution of RIPK1 kinase-mediated cell death to acute and chronic inflammatory diseases, including myelodysplasia
