DIABETES

The Diabetes group, led by Dr. Anthony Nunes, focuses on the clinical management and outcomes of patients with diabetes. The goal of this group is to inform the clinical care of diabetes, and comorbidities common in patients with diabetes, to improve safety and effectiveness of care provided to aging patients with diabetes. Current projects are leveraging large real-word data resources and advanced methods to identify optimal patterns of antidiabetic treatment, safety of antidiabetic regimens in older populations, and clinical responses to comorbidities in patients with diabetes.
