Autism
Description
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is common in the pediatric population and is defined by a certain set of behaviors that can range from the very mild to the severe. Children with ASD demonstrate deficits in social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication and repetitive behaviors or interests. Early, intensive, appropriate treatment programs will greatly improve the outlook for most young children with autism.
