Our Clinical Research Solutions team supports clinical and translational research projects involving human subjects, with a focus on administration of research activities including Clinical Trial Management, IRB, and Research Patient Web Portal.

The UMass Chan Medical School eIRB (electronic Institutional Review Board) enables researchers to manage all compliance processes for the IRB. The eIRB provides a streamlined way for researches to create and submit protocols for studies and creates IRB administrative efficiencies to better sever research investigators and their staff.
OnCore® (On-line Collaborative Research Environment) is a comprehensive web-based clinical trial management system (CTMS) that seamlessly integrates all of the components of research activity across the research enterprise. OnCore is a product of Forte Research Systems and has been developed through collaboration with leading research organizations. OnCore supports 21 academic medical centers, 50 cancer centers, and 11 health care systems throughout the country.
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases. REDCap was developed by the informatics core at Vanderbilt University. VU reports the REDCap Consortium is composed of 2,075 active institutional partners in 108 countries with over 297,000 projects in production and development mode.
