Our Basic Research Team focuses on compliance issues and supports research teams through technical user support and administration of the following systems:

The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) provides oversight of the institution's animal program, facilities, procedures, and training related to research involving animal subjects.

IBC - The Institutional Biosafety Board (IBC) provides guidelines and best practices for the security, storage, handling, and use of potentially hazardous agents and human biologic samples.

COI - The Financial Conflict of Interest system (COI) identifies and prevents bias based on researchers' disclosed financial interests.
