UMass CIPC Project ECHO

The Center has partnered with the University of New Mexico's Project ECHO to extend our reach beyond our online courses.  ECHO "clinics" create active learning communities of practitioners and UMass medical and behavioral specialists focused on a particular issue, e.g. Hepatitis C treatment (HCV), Medically Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (MAT), Elder Care, Palliative Care, and other topics.

Clinics are run weekly online, they begin with a  short didactic presentation by UMass specialists, and then move to case presentations and discussions by participants.

Currently, we are hosting clinics on HCV and are actively seeking support for other ECHO opportunities as well.
