UMass CIPC Project ECHO

The Center is partnering with the University of New Mexico' Project ECHO to extend our reach beyond our online courses.  ECHO "clinics" create active learning communities of practitioners and UMass medical and behavioral specialists focused on a particular issue, e.g. Hepatitis C treatment (HCV), Medically Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (MAT), Elder Care, Palliative Care, and other topics. Currently, we are hosting clinics on MAT and HCV and are actively seeking support for other ECHO opportunities as well.

Each time the clinic members meet online, there is a short didactic presentation by UMass specialists, and case presentations and discussions by participants.  Currently, we are hosting clinics on MAT and HCV and are actively seeking support for other ECHO opportunities as well.
