Recorded Motivational Interviewing Lessons

Once the course is opened, you may access content and materials at any time. Students should watch each Lesson before participating in the related, live online practice session.

Live Active Practice Interactive Workshops

All sessions run on Tuesdays, 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time

Additional Required Individual Training

All students will complete a scheduled telephone encounter with an Acting Patient and then schedule and complete a telephone session with our MI Coach between Learning Labs 1 and 2 and again after Learning Lab 5. Each Acting

Patient Encounter will be 20-30 minutes in duration. These will be audio-recorded by the Acting Patient. These recordings are work-samples that will serve as the foundation for individualized training and feedback for each participant in the course.

Acting Patient Encounter 1: Completed between Group Learning Sessions 1 and 2

Individual Coaching Session 1: Completed 2-4 weeks after Acting Patient Encounter 1

Acting Patient Encounter 2: Completed within 30 days following Group Learning Session 5

Individual Coaching Session 2: Completed 2-4 weeks after Acting Patient Encounter 2
