Investigate what mindfulness is and how it can be effectively practiced in the workplace to support your resiliency, strength and flexibility as leaders, clinicians and managers. Identify and expand your ability to work mindfully with the experiences of stress, pain, grief, and anxiety within ourselves - and also when working with others.
The Monday mindfulness sessions will be led by deeply experienced and highly trained Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teachers and pioneers of the MBSR program that started here at UMASS in 1979. In the sessions, you will be provided with instruction and opportunities for:
conceptual and experiential learning
You may join the program on any Monday, and the intention is that it will become a regular and valued part of your UMMHC and UMMS experience.
